This program seeks to increase the availability of food and revenue in communities by increasing local food production for household consumption and income-generating purposes.
The Foundation works with communities to:
- Create family and community gardens
- Improve the production of main staples (maize and beans)
- Promote the traditional backyard chicken production system
In 2013, the program is implementing innovative agricultural practices to increase maize production in the arid region.
